Generate what benefits from variation. Build what has to be exact.
Generative models are probabilistic. CGI is deterministic. That difference is not a problem to be solved — it is the basis of every sensible production decision.
Environments, moods, atmospheres, campaign context and volume: generate. Products, proportions, typography, brand assets and anything a client will measure: build. Then composite the two so carefully that nobody can tell where the seam was.
Most of what I do is deciding, project by project, exactly where that line runs — and then holding one visual intention across both sides of it.
